TV-opas collects free TV streams on one list. See what is on now and the guide grid for the day, play a channel in the browser or open it in VLC, and plan programmes into your own week view. Export the week to a calendar file. Your favourite channels come first, and channels that do not answer move to the end of the list. In English and Finnish.
TV-opas collects free TV streams on one channel list and adds a programme guide and your own TV calendar. It is for people who want to watch free TV and plan their viewing week. The app is in English and Finnish.
The streams come from the public iptv-org list, and you pick the countries you want. The guide grid shows the day's programmes for each channel, including the evening programmes that run past midnight. The guide for Finnish channels refreshes once an hour. Other countries show their streams without a guide.
You can play a channel on the page or open it in VLC. A stream that the browser cannot play, for example an http-only stream, plays in VLC. The node checks the Finnish streams round the clock. A channel that does not answer moves to the end of the list, and its dialog tells you why it does not play. Your favourite channels come first, and you can hide a channel.
When you add a programme from the guide, it goes into your week view. If the programme shows again on the same channel, you can follow it as a series. You can export the week to a calendar file. If you have set up a recorder agent, you can also book a recording of a programme and watch it here later.
When you are signed in, your picks are kept on every device. When you are signed out, they stay in this browser.
